Peter and Anousith are the principle physiotherapists and owners of Podium Physiotherapy. Having gone through physio school together, Peter and Anousith have been mates and colleagues since. Professionally both have led similar paths working in a variety of private practice settings as well as Sports Physio’s with national and professional teams. This has taken them to many different countries around the world and to major events such as World Championships, Commonwealth Games, Youth Olympic Games, and Olympic Games.

With all that experience between them Peter and Anousith are keen to create a practice that is based on the best elements of their experiences. A practice that is centered around the patient and achieving their goals while at the same time a positive, fun and vibrant environment for patients and physios to be involved with.

    Anousith has extensive experience working with patients in private practice as well as with athletes in national and professional organisations.

    He is currently the Lead Physiotherapist with Basketball New Zealand, and Tall Blacks Physiotherapist. Anousith was the Lead Physiotherapist and Health Manager with the NZ Breakers Basketball for 7 years, where the team won 3 Championships and multiple Finals appearances.

    Anousith takes a proactive approach to patient care with a focus on functional rehabilitation and a hands-on approach to treatments.

    Musculoskeletal & Sports Physiotherapist

    Peter has over 10 years experience and has worked with some of the world’s tops athletes in various sports. He has a keen interest in musculoskeletal physiotherapy and rehabilitation. Peter’s current interest is working with Shockwave Therapy on chronic tendon / soft tissue injuries which have not responded to conventional treatments. This is a relatively new form of treatment that is getting some great results on reducing or eliminating chronic tendon / ligamentous symptoms.
